The inside is stained with a dark oak. All paints and stains are child safe. All dories are numbered, dated, and signed by the original artesian.
 

Rocking Dory $229

Built on the coast of Maine, this lap joint dory is designed for 1-3 year old toddlers, and when they have outgrown the dory, it makes a fine collectable to be passed on from generation to generation. Name will be hand painted on stern or bow for additional $10.

Each dory is painstakingly built one by one from a variety of hard and soft woods consisting of twenty-seven separate pieces. All pieces are either glued, nailed, or screwed for as much strength as possible. The top rails and inner ribs are made or hardwood glued and fastened with solid brass screws.
